I didn't notice any time re-writes in John's talk to Sami. I think it was said (when Madison was introduced) that she and Sami were in elementary together. I want to say that a specific grade was said, but I don't remember what that grade was. I just assumed that John meant he was there for Sami either when she got back from Colorado or before she went. BTW, why wasn't Marlena around when Sami/Eric were kids? I feel so sorry for Sarah Brown. I know Eric Martsolf is great, but how awkward it must be for those two to have so many damn love scenes every week. And awkward love scenes, for that matter! ... "Okay, so I lick his chest, bite his nipples, and THEN lick his throat?...Okay, so how many licks?" ........ I wish they would give Madison some stability in her personality. One minute, she's a bad-ass businesswoman who doesn't put up with any shit. Then, she's a fragile lover who answers her man's every desire. Then, she's a bad-ass lover who doesn't put up with her lover's demands. Then, she's a fragile lover whose judgment gets clouded when trying to make business decisions with her boyfriend. I did get kind of irritated with Sami jumping to conclusions about what John was saying. Hell, he could've told her "they're having a special on the clam chowder" and she would've accused him of calling her fat. I wish the writers would remember that Sami is a 30-year-old woman and not a bratty rebellious 20-year-old. There isn't really a need for an episode between yesterday and today. The only thing that was said to have happened was the Carrie/Austin fight, and Muldoon is so horrible I can't hardly stand to watch anything Carrie/Austin-related anymore. The coffee pot thing? Ridiculous. Abigail's crush on Austin bores me. Mansi's voice also grates on my nerves, so I can only take Abigail in small doses. And where the HELL are all these awesome new sets we were supposed to have? The town square's starting to get old really fast. (Mainly because they use it for every non-house or office related scene)... And Quinn's day-spa is nice, but it's boring. Give us some damn color. Some eye-poppin', high-dollar-lookin' HGTV shit. |

I agree with the part of the post about Sami... Everything is right on, but I, too, don't care for Sam...but even though she was so defensive that she didn't hear a word John truly said...she bothers me...I just don't like her...(not the actress...just the lines) |

Because she was kidnapped and held hostage for 5 years, but everyone thought she was dead. Sami told John she know's that's not Marlena's fault yet she always has to push it in Marlena's face for years. |
